Answers/Daily packaging

How do I ship clothes with less packaging?

Use a right-sized paper or reusable garment mailer, fold clothing flat, remove trapped air, and seal with a return-ready strip. Clothes usually need compression and moisture protection more than thick cushioning.

The biggest waste in clothing shipments is excess air inside oversized mailers. Fold-to-fit mailers and garment sleeves reduce bulk without needing a box.

For return-heavy orders, a second adhesive strip or zip return sleeve makes the original package usable again and reduces the need for new tape.

Do clothes need bubble wrap?

Most clothes do not need bubble wrap. They need a clean outer mailer, moisture resistance, a label area, and enough structure to avoid tearing in transit.

What is a two-way mailer?

A two-way mailer has a second closure strip or return mechanism so the customer can send the item back in the same package.
